Get ready for a radical update in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. The game’s latest DLC, Radical Reptiles, has been launched, introducing two familiar faces from the franchise’s past: Mona Lisa and Mondo Gecko. This new addition is a throwback to Konami’s TMNT arcade games, bringing fresh excitement to the beat-em-up tribute.
Mona Lisa and Mondo Gecko are joining the fight. Mona Lisa was created for the first TMNT animated series in 1987. She was once human but was transformed into a mutant salamander after being exposed to a nuclear reactor. Mondo Gecko, on the other hand, was an ordinary gecko before he was mutated into a humanoid form. Initially, he aligned with the evil Mr. X, but he eventually reformed and befriended the TMNT.
The game is also getting a new remixed original soundtrack from renowned artists, including Tomoya Tomita, Keiji Yamagishi, Jake Kaufman, Sean Bialo, Anamanaguchi, and Button Masher. This updated soundtrack will be available as a free update for all players, further enhancing the gaming experience.
According to the PlayStation Blog, Radical Reptiles will be the final DLC for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. In their farewell message, the developers expressed their pride in the project and their excitement to see how players will enjoy the new characters.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Radicals is out now on all consoles and PC, ready for players to experience the new fighters and remixed soundtrack.
