Sega has announced a collaboration with DC Comics, bringing together two beloved franchises in a series of Sonic the Hedgehog comics. The blue blur will team up with the Justice League in a series of mash-ups, including Shadow as Batman, Sonic as The Flash, and Knuckles as Superman.
The comics, written by Sonic writer Ian Flynn, will be released in March 2025 and will be accompanied by tie-in merchandise, including apparel and toys. The collaboration will continue into 2026, making Sonic a major cash cow for Sega.
New Sonic Lego Sets
Two new Sonic Lego sets are on the way: Sonic’s Campfire Clash and Super Shadow vs Biolizard, based on the boss fight from Sonic Adventure 2. These sets are sure to excite fans of both franchises.
The previously revealed Sonic Rumble will arrive this winter on mobile and PC, a 32-player battle royale with multiple modes. Sonic x Shadow Generations will receive a series of animated shorts on YouTube ahead of its release next month, with an extended edition available exclusively to PlayStation players.
