Netflix Delays The Witcher Animated Movie to 2025

Netflix has announced that its upcoming animated Witcher movie, Sirens of the Deep, has been delayed until 2025. The movie, which was initially set to be released later this year, is now scheduled to premiere on February 11th, 2025.

What’s Sirens of the Deep About?

Sirens of the Deep is the second animated Witcher movie from Netflix, following the well-received Nightmare of the Wolf in 2021. The movie follows Geralt of Rivia as he investigates a series of attacks in a seaside village, only to find himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople.

Key Cast and Crew

The movie features Doug Cockle reprising his role as Geralt, alongside Joey Batey as Jaskier. Sirens of the Deep is directed by Kang Hei Chul, who previously helmed Nightmare of the Wolf. The movie is an adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story, A Little Sacrifice.
