MSI has announced its latest lineup of high-end laptops and monitors at the German trade show IFA, featuring advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. One of the standout products is the MSI MEG Vision X AI, a desktop PC with a built-in vertical touchscreen for its dedicated AI-powered chatbot.
The MSI MEG Vision X AI is a powerful desktop PC built around either an AMD Ryzen 9000 or Intel Arrow Lake CPU, with a choice of Nvidia or AMD graphics card. However, its most notable feature is the vertical touchscreen that takes up nearly the entire front fascia of the machine. This dedicated “Human Machine Interface” allows users to interact with the proprietary “MSI AI Engine” chatbot, which can analyze and summarize documents within local folders.
MSI has also updated its laptop lineup with AI-powered features, including the Summit, Prestige, Stealth, and Creator lines. The Summit 13 and Summit A16 laptops caught our attention, with their 2-in-1 designs and impressive specs, including AMD Ryzen 9 processors and LPDDR5X 7500 memory. The Stealth A16 laptop is another notable model, featuring a magnesium alloy build and a powerful AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 discrete graphics.
The updated laptops feature advanced displays, including 4K Mini-LED panels with 120Hz refresh rates, and OLED options with 240Hz refresh rates. They also come with per-key RGB lighting, generous touchpads, and slim adapters that support up to 240-watt charging. The laptops are expected to be available later this year, although prices and final specs are still to be announced.
The latest release from MSI, including its AI-powered desktop PC and updated lineup of laptops, is undoubtedly making waves in the tech industry. One aspect that caught my attention is the MSI MEG Vision X AI, a desktop PC with a massive touchscreen that takes up almost the entire front of the machine.
The MSI MEG Vision X AI’s integration of a dedicated AI-powered chatbot, which runs locally on the desktop, is an intriguing feature. The AI Engine that powers the chatbot allows for quick data analysis and summarization of local documents. This giant leap in innovation, combined with the desktop’s processing capabilities, marks a significant shift toward next-generation computing.
In addition to the AI-powered desktop PC, MSI has also unveiled an OLED gaming monitor with a feature called AI Sky Sight. This innovation detects the colors on the display and syncs them with the rear-mounted LED light bar, creating an immersive visual experience. Other significant releases include updated laptop models, such as the Summit 13 and Summit A16, which pack impressive specs and cutting-edge features.
Overall, MSI’s new lineup is pushing the boundaries of consumer computing, and I’m excited to see how these innovations will shape the future of technology.
