Something to look forward to: Horror legend John Carpenter is teaming up with Boss Team Games to create two new games based on his 1978 classic Halloween.
Carpenter, an avid gamer, will be “intimately involved” in the development of the projects, which are being developed in conjunction with the producers of the Halloween franchise. One of the games will be developed in Unreal Engine 5 and will feature Carpenter’s input.
The games will allow players to relive moments from the original 1978 film and play as classic characters. They are being developed in association with Compass International Pictures and Further Front. Here are some key points to note:
“Getting to work with iconic characters like Michael Myers and build on John Carpenter’s original vision is literally a dream come true,” said Boss Team Games CEO Steve Harris. With Carpenter’s involvement and the team’s passion for the project, fans of the movie and video games can expect a thrilling experience.
