Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX Leaked: 24 Cores and a 5.5GHz Boost Clock

The big picture: Intel’s Core Ultra 200 CPU series has been making headlines with the introduction of the Lunar Lake 200V models for light laptops. However, the high-performance mobile parts have remained under wraps until now. A recent leak from renowned tipster Jaykihn has shed some light on the clock speeds and core counts of six previously unknown Intel Arrow Lake HX CPUs.

Core Ultra 9 285HX: A Powerhouse for Laptops

The flagship Core Ultra 9 285HX boasts an impressive 24 cores, with eight performance and 16 efficiency cores, and a 5.5GHz boost clock. This puts it only 200MHz behind its desktop counterpart, the 5.7GHz 285K. The Ultra 7 275HX and Ultra 7 265HX follow closely, with the former featuring the same number of cores and a 5.4GHz boost, while the latter has 20 cores and a 5.3GHz boost.

Other Leaked HX Processors and Integrated Graphics

The other leaked HX processors include the Ultra 5 255HX, Ultra 5 245HX, and the 235HX. All of these processors feature Xe2 Battlemage integrated graphics, with the 255HX and higher including 64 EU cores. The flagship 285HX clocks its graphics at 2GHz, while the 235HX operates at 1.8GHz.

Release Window and Future Plans

While there is no official release window for the Arrow Lake HX, it is likely to come after the Arrow Lake S Core Ultra 200K/KF lineup. Intel might reveal the latter on October 10. Additionally, the company is expected to follow up with Panther Lake, also known as Intel Core 300, in the latter half of next year.
